In spring, good and quick seedbed preparation is essential. VSS Construct has developed a completely new seedbed cultivator under the brand name VSS Agro. This modular machine is available in various configurations which all excel in easily adjustable components.

The cultivator has a strong welded frame with the different tillage components fitted on. The trailed spring-tines are front-mounted, and they break up the furrow slice and level the soil before the crumble roller. The T-profile roller can both be applied as an aggressive crumble roller, which is required for heavy soils, and as a supporting roller for sandy soils by simply turning it round.

Then the first levelling bar levels the seedbed after which the four rows of straight spring-tines ensure the exact working depth of the machine. The second levelling bar levels the tracks of the spring tines, followed by the rear roller compacting the seedbed.

The unique feature of this machine is the hydraulic adjustment of the trailed tines and the straight spring tines. During use, the depth of both the trailed tines and the spring tines can be adjusted by means of a hydraulic cylinder. A clearly visible depth indicator scale shows the working depth.

The machine is modular built, which provides different configurations. You could opt for a configuration with front-mounted trailed tines or with sweep shares. It is also possible to opt for rear-mounted double rollers. The machine is available in configurations ranging between 3 till 9 meters; from 4.5 meters it is folded hydraulically. From 4.5 meters a half-supported configuration is also possible.
